Don Heights Singers
Musical magic happens every Thursday night at 7 pm when people who love to sing and socialize gather with our Music Director around our vintage Steinway Grand Piano at 18 Wynford Drive. An open community choir that has no membership fees or entrance requirements and where all are welcome, this is 90 minutes of singing, fun and fellowship once a week.
There are opportunities to perform twice a month at Sunday services from September to June, and for special occasions. The repertoire includes original music from their songbook, “Power of Song.”
One of the things that makes DHS unique is that members write and perform their own songs as well as other people’s. Led by musical dynamo Sheila White, this choir is for people who love to sing, want to sing, or desire to sing, even those with little or no experience. New members are invited and encouraged to drop in.
